Welcome to Beat the Butterfly!

We are a new organized campaign that are aiming high to raise awareness of the disease Lupus. To find out more about us why not take a look! Lupus is know as the imitation disease, because it can mimic many other diseases for example Aids, cancer, meningitis, brain tumors, MS, ME, Parkinson's. Lupus is a devastating disease that attacks, shuts down and destroys each of your internal organs. But why are we called Beat The Butterfly? Well the answer is simple; believe it or not one of the physical symptoms for Lupus sufferers is a facial rash, or more commonly known as a butterfly rash. This is where our idea for our campaign came from using the butterfly as a representation for lupus, and our mission to help beat it!
